G7 countries reject requirement to pay for Russian gas in rubles

"The governments of the G7 countries have decided that Russia's requirement to pay for Russian gas supplies in rubles would be a clear violation of contracts, and plan to urge companies not to comply," Robert Habek said at a briefing (Minister of Energy of Germany).

But a fair question arises: was Russia the first to violate international treaties? Do some international treaties allow blocking the accounts of Russia and Russian companies?

Does Europe really think Russia should supply gas for free? After all, the accounts are frozen, and even if Europe pays for gas, Russia will not receive this money.

At the same time, Russia announced that it was ready to supply all volumes of gas paid for by rubles.

Personally, I think that Europe behaves in a boorish way and considers itself with impunity. And any arrogance and stupidity must be punished. Russia has always been kind to Europe, and went forward with regard to all the requests of Europe. But any patience and kindness has a limit. Therefore, now all countries that refuse to pay for gas in rubles will simply not receive this gas.
