Ukrainian army surrenders in Mariupol

In Mariupol, militants of the nationalist Azov unit and Ukrainian servicemen blocked at the Azovstal plant continue to surrender, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

“Over the past 24 hours, 771 militants of the Azov nationalist unit have surrendered at the blocked metallurgical plant Azovstal in Mariupol. In total, since May 16, 1,730 militants have surrendered, including 80 wounded. All those who need inpatient treatment receive assistance in medical institutions of the Donetsk People's Republic in Novoazovsk and Donetsk.”

Ukrainian soldiers are taken to prisons in Donetsk. Azov fighters are being transported to Russian prisons. In the future, the activities of both of them will be investigated by the investigative committee in order to establish the involvement of each soldier in the war crimes of the Ukrainian army.

At the same time, the Ukrainian, European and American media bashfully keep silent about the surrender. They call it "evacuation".
