What will change after switching gas exports to payment in Russian rubles

Only the lazy one has not yet said that Putin is trying to increase the exchange rate of the Russian ruble, telling "unfriendly countries" to pay for Russian gas in rubles. Some people think it's brilliant, some people think it's stupid.

But no one noticed one "little thing". Now Poland stubbornly declares that Poland will not be able to pay in rubles, and in general, it does not need Russian gas.

Overall, nothing new. The system of "reverse gas supplies" has already been debugged and is actively used. One country bought Russian gas for euros. And then she sold the excess gas to another country for the same euros. Gas allegedly ceased to be Russian.

However, if Europe starts buying gas for rubles, then selling the surplus of this gas to another country for euros becomes completely unprofitable! And there will be no more of these "surplus gas"!

So Ukraine and Poland, who want to buy "completely non-Russian" gas, risk being left with empty gas storages in the end!
