Donetsk People's Republic and the Lugansk People's Republic turn to the UN Security Council with a request to the International Tribunal for War Crimes of the Ukrainian army on the territory of Donbas.
- We call on the UN Secretary General, the permanent members of the Security Council, the United States, France, Britain, China and Russia to work towards the establishment of an international tribunal. For our part we are ready to provide evidence and all information about the Kiev security forces of crimes in the Donbass - the head of the People's Republic of Lugansk Igor Plotnitskiy.
- Neither the death will not be forgotten - the head of the People's Republic of Donetsk, Alexander Zakharchenko - a large body of evidence linking Ukrainian security services to mass killings of civilians. This is evidenced by dozens of graves, we have found in the Donetsk People's Republic and Lugansk People's Republic.
In total, according to Zakharchenko, during the conflict in the Donbass killed 3684 civilians, including 523 women and 65 children, killed 1,212 citizens during 2015. More than 3 thousand people are missing. According to the latest UN data, victims of the conflict were about 6.5 thousand people.
